“Give peace a chance”-John Lennon

This was said by an ex-Beatles member decades ago. John Lennon and many others have said this and have urged the government to avoid wars. The Governments of most nations are nowadays busy building nukes or nuclear bombs in an order to strengthen the defense mechanism. Ironically millions of dollars are spent in building these bombs and there are several thousand people who starve and die. So the question is who are the government officials trying to defend? The people who already are dying from starvation and who fall under the poverty line? The answer is quite unknown. As Bob Dylan said “the answer my friend is blowing in the wind”
